how you feel about that?

I keep waiting for you to tell us how Angelinos feel about the Villaraigosa election. I'm sure other Chicagoans feel the same.

Hidden meaning?: That your relationship w. Matt will get more serious... in an aside, lately, I've heard of two women who've met the right man on eHarmony. You are too young to go that route, but keep it in mind for later in life.

EMC
I used to get that exact same question when I was single. It made me feel terrible. That and I constantly had to fight the fact that people thought I was gay. I'm a quiet, slender, artsy guy that likes music and loves to write. I'm not very atheletic, and am extremely shy and insecure around women. In fact, when I met my girlfriend (five years, wow!) even my family's responses were, "Ay, at least we know now he's not gay!" Rather depressing, but Cindy I feel you. Most of the women that I liked in my undergraduate writing program were "taken" and men were outnumbered by women. I was one of perhaps three men in the writing program who were not gay and were dedicated writers. Out of school, I found that there are a lot of straight writers, so I even tackled my own shrouded expectation. I say, keep at your work and that person will come. C'mon, guys love women who are into sports, and you young lady, are a standout! :)

the gender-ratio is also my excuse for the school of social work. but that doesn't really hold water when i'm on summer vacation *sigh*

EMC, Cindylu, You guys've got it all wrong. When someone asks how is it you don't have a boyfriend or girlfriend, they are clearly interested in you. Which is obviously why Matt insisted you guys grab some food. I agree with EMC - you're a "standout" (chuckle, who the hell says "standout"?)

This is the last sign of the Apocalypse, now it is guys the ones that put girls in the "Friend Zone".

I agree. A guy asking you a question like that - it means he's interested.

Yep by the reads of it, I'd definately be 'secretive' of liking you if I spoke like that.

The replies to this post as well as the feedback I got from my friends about this proves once again the extent of my clueless-ness.

Blex, I have been inhabiting the Friends Zone for years. It is annoying.

well, this is not about your post, but about your website. you do have a tight layout, your family and friends seem to be beautiful people. so, surrounded by so much goodness, i won't be suprise if you find someone 'good' for you.

No fuera siendo Cindylu...que no dicen que la mejor manera de conquistar a un hombre es con la comida...que a mi se-me-hace que es lo que quieres hacer con este chavo!

So Cindylu, I've been meaning to ask, "why don't you have a boyfriend?"
