Thanks for your note. I think I'll be moving that entry to private. Although no one in RL knows of the online journal, I'd hate for him to run across it. As to any solutions to the problem, I certainly don't have them all. I do, however, think that we (the latino community) are dropping the ball at the undergrad level. We should be better preparing our college students, both in terms of help to maintain high college grades and in terms of test prep, in order to see stronger applicants. I think the biggest problem is that we've come to accept mediocracy. At least that's what I see when I look around the latino legal community here. At a minimum, we should be discussing it and looking for solutions, instead of accepting anything less than excellence in our professionals. Sorry this became long winded. I do appreciate your comments. :~)
