how you feel about that?

I have a question...was this really an issue of compatibility or a lack of chemistry? (you used the word "fizzled") because there HAS to be at least a little spark otherwise it doesn't matter how compatible you are on paper...as far as the other stuff...ideally we all have a mental checklist of the perfect mate...but I have found that with me, most of these are negotiable with the right person...I've written and re-written my "Must Haves" too many times, and it really comes down to just two main things for me: he must share the same weird, sharp sense of humor (I didn't realize how important this really was to me until recently. If you can't laugh at yourself then you're not humble enough for me) and he must be openminded and open to communicating about everything, the easy and the uncomfortable because that's where the negotiating comes in...

Tumbleweed, in that situation we also didn't have much chemistry. I remember telling my roommate and another good friend that there were no sparks.I guess I just assumed that the sparks might have had something to do with compatibility.

i think sense of humor is a big one. he should make you laugh and if he laughs at your jokes too(even the dumb ones) that's even better.
