Bad energy? *Any* energy is good! Your bracelet may have just worn out b/c you liked it so well/wore it a lot! If you want to give more meaning to the broken bracelet incident, then allow yourself to think of all the possible meanings without judging any negatively. Open your mind that your bracelet may be telling you just about anything you can think of! Such as: 1. Education may not be for you, you may be better off designing bracelets or blogs! 2. Call your friend who gave you the bracelet and make sure she's OK, let her know what happened and ask her what her interpretation of the incident is. 3. Embrace simplicity and do not depend on any external adornments to feel good about yourself and your appearance 4. When us latinas focus on our appearance too much, we are buying into the Latino Macho culture that to this day shapes our lives (my husband is my #1 daily critic, on everything from appearance, to diet, to activities, etc., his judgemental attitude seems coded into his modus operandi), so you can decide to go with #3 and still enjoy the company of those Latinos who judge us by appearance. 5. Any energy is good, as I mentioned before, so the bracelet has in its own way jogged you into action, make sure you never spend a day *without* energy, find people/things that motivate you! Respond to those who direct aggressive/hostile energy with all the resources you can identify: starting from your own personal network to the social networks already laid out for us (or those we create on our own). Do you think the bracelet *should* be transmitting "bad" energy from someone or something? Then accept that by dealing with it intelligently. Formulate your plan by first identifying your "enemy" and then making your strategy to defeat that "enemy." HTH.

Sorry to hear about your bracelet. I can empathize, my sister brought me back this really cool cocunut ring from Chile and it cracked and broke. I wanted to cry. Anyway, we people like you!

sorry about your bracelet, it looked lovely, too. a boy i used to hold dear back when i was younger brought me back a vail full of white sand from cancun and one day it broke and all the sand spilled everywhere. i was devastated :( by the way, being that you are one of my friends that means that you are in fact, cooler than most people on that wretched site. why am i still on it? iono...
