Yep, you do need a PhD for anyone to listen. The sad part is that a bunch of them are intelectualoides. Anyway, two good books on immigration of La Migra me hizo los mandados & Diary of an Undocumented immigrant. (If you want to do more reading on this in the future) Good luck on your finals.

Thanks for posting these quotes. I've often thought that undocumented "aliens" are hardly a burden to our economy; and actually a revenue source. But to hear the ignorant and prejudiced points of view on the LA radio stations, it's easy to get the opposite view. And sadly, people I know are caught up in this whole anti-immigrant movement. Good luck in your research.
