Sorry about your car. Though it is extremely unlikely that both you and the truck driver decided to pass the light on red, don't you think? You still have a witness - even though it is somebody you know. So it is a friendly witness, so what! Aren't we supposed to be innocent? Is your witness immediately branded a liar? More likely the Mercedes driver was advised to plead innocent. Oh, happy day :)
