sorry to scare you, i should add that i've only really been in mexico city ( acapulco blegh! go to cancun instead ). but what sucks on top of the fact that shits bad in the whole country, is that we are fortunate enough to be able to leave and come back to the u.s., ... anyway, i wont get you down anymore. leave the pulque alone and eat all the sopes and flans you can! oh, and zacatecas is nice, at least what i saw from the plane :D
