Class seems like such an outdated concept to me. I learn way more with blogs, podcasts, and videos. Books are still nice though. I hope those never get outdated.

Jose Canseco implicated 3 former Texas Rangers and one former Tampa Bay Devil Ray trainer. Fernando Valenzuela threw a no-hitter against the Cardinals in 1990. Sammy Sosa has only corked his bat once and that was for batting practice.

hey- i'm not a blogger and am not even super computer davy but I stumbled on to your blog last week while at work. It's great. Since then, I've checked in everyday to see how you are doing. I'm a Mexi from Denver, living in DC for the past few years. I lobby for Latinos in the Northeast. Just thought I'd let you know how much I enjoy reading your site. We are about the same age and its almost like I know you now. Weird, que no?

DCMex, where in the Northeast? And what is up with the "que no?" is that a chicano thing? Never, heard it in Mexico.

dcmeximelt, welcome to my blog. I'm always glad to have new readers. Elena, I use "que no?" in my speech sometimes. Maybe it is a Chicano thing.

Grad school can be rough on one's self-esteem. I think everybody goes through the self-doubt and asks "Did they make a mistake by admiting me?" The answer is simply NO. There is no way you can get into Grad School if you are not qualified. Like you, I have always felt like I have gotten by without having to push my self to the "full potential". Whenever I start a new step in life, I always think: now I have to start working in earnest. Do I? No. I always figure out a way to not hit that "full potential" point. Is it a waste? No because I use my time in other ways that either fulfill me or others. You'll get the hang of grad school and you will shine. There will be tough times along the way (I have never met a graduate student who has not cried or lost it), but you will get through them. Just be sure to create a good support network. And it is obvious that Oso has never been in one of my classes, otherwise he would have to revise his comment. ;)

hey cindylu, I haven't seen you lately, but i just wanted to say, I can't believe you're doubting yourself, you're one of the people that I get a lot of my motivation from, but its good to see that you're still human. Don't doubt yourself though, you are so awsome. We all feel overwhemled at times, but we always make it, and do it well! take care *diana*
