it seems like i am going to do this whole grad school thing after all. it scares the hell out of me to think that i have to take the gre in 9 days. i know very little about this exam, mainly that its on computer. at least i can find solace in the fact that the programs that i am applying to do not place much weight on standardized test scores.

i just got back from the Jaguares show and they rocked... but i think i've been spoiled. you see, i've gone to a few concerts in the last week or so. the venue then was small and intimate. the crowd at each show was much more excited and lively. the jaguares performed at a huge venue and i had pretty bad seats. not nosebleed, but the sound wasn't too great and the people around me weren't too lively. however, i still managed to enjoy myself. the highlight of the evening: an acoustic version of "quisiera ser alcohol." lowlight: fearing for my life as i rode in my cousin's car... he's crazy!
