I told Isa that living with her was going to bring out my alcoholic tendencies. I've been drinking a lot more than I usually do. It's partially because suddenly most of my best friends have a lot more time and also because they're all drinking more as it's one of the ways they deal with the stress of teaching high schoolers.

Things I need to remember for the future:

• Just because I am Mexican doesn't mean I should be taking shots of tequila.
• Don't compete with Miguel, at least in drinking.
• Buy smaller shot glasses (we have the double size ones).
• Don't walk into the furniture. Ouch.
• Don't leave my blue fuzzy slippers out in the living room so that an unnamed person can wear one in the rain to get something from his/her car.
• Avoid taking walks at midnight through my neighborhood alone. I know I get horrible reception in my apartment, but I could have just gone outside instead of taking a late night walk.

I still feel yucky, still need to study, and still want to sleep some more.
