I spent most of this past week outside of Salamanca.

Monday through Wednesday I stayed with my To Carmn, one of my dad's cousins on my Grandpa Bartolo's side of the family. It was a bit overwhelming being at the rancho, but also an amazing experience.

Yesterday, I returned to Guanajuato (I was there for a little while on Sunday) with another prima, and now I'm back in Salamanca. I need to decide if I will leave to el DF on Sunday or later in the week. I still haven't had a chance to go to Morelia, Michoacn to visit a great aunt.

I wanted to do a frequently asked questions thing, but I'm running out of time and need to go see Gaby, my ta Lolas 18 year old daughter (shes really my aunt because Lola is my Grandma Juana's baby sister).

I'll answer comments and stuff later. But for Diana, I'll say that I have had my share of injuries here in Mxico. You know... I am a klutz. In Mazatln, I hit my knee in the bathroom and got a cut. Its the same knee that had the ugly bruise from moshing back in May. I've also counted about 10 mosquito bites. I hate them. The first day on the rancho, I was holding onto a rope with one foot propped on the seat of the swing, when my little cousin Rosa Isela, jumped on my back. I lost my balance, but tried to hold on because I didn't want to fall. I ended up getting a painful rope burn on my right hand. Finally, on Wednesday when we went to the cerro, I broke a thumb nail really close to the live part. It was really painful.
