i think dominic and i have a communication problem. its pretty silly actually. we literally have problems when we try and talk to eachother. its kind of amusing if you think about it. if we try to im, his computer freezes and kicks him off. then, if he tries to call my cell phone, he finds that all he gets is a message because my phone is resting for the week until i find my charger. then there's email. sometimes my messages bounce back because hotmail acts up. its all good though, because when i finally do get to talk to him its nice, i just wish we could do it more often.

vane and i took the praxis exam in english language, literature and composition: essays this morning. i had a flashback to the days of the english lit ap test in high school. this test cost me way too much money, but its my fault because i didn't know when the deadline was and had to take it standby. i'm crossing my fingers that i passed it (animas de mi tia macaria ayudanme!). so, as of today i am firmly committed to doing this whole grad school thing. i figure i've already spent over $300 on tests and trips to berkeley, so i might as well make that money worth more than just a night on the town with dominic. this is the point of no return. by this point next year i better be living in the bay area.

in other news... 'tis a sad day to be a bruin. shutout to $UC (that's not a typo). i hung my head in shame for all of 10 seconds and then went on to find the method to the madness that is my side of the room. its amazing what one will do to avoid writing a paper.
